Allen & Co. 30th Annual Conference @ KSUN (Hailey, ID)

For those spotters always looking for the next NBAA type of event that draws copious amounts of biz, look no further than this annual event that takes place in the sleepy little ski town the second week of July.  The difference between this event and many others is the amount of "large" aircraft that attend in relation to the smaller Citation types.  This conference is geared towards the media magnates and draws attendees from all over the world.  The big arrival day is Tuesday and the conference concludes on Saturday.  Heavy biz from Malaysia, Canada, Luxembourg, Germany, Isle of Man, Mexico, Portugal, and Switzerland were noted this year.  This year I would guess there were upwards of 100 biz. (not all photographs below show the extent of the visitors)

If you plan on visiting this event in the upcoming years, don't forget to make a side trip to Twin Falls, Idaho.  This is the nearest airport that has a long runway and can support the biz that need to make the flight home to Europe or wherever nonstop.  In years past, the Turkish Govt A319 was spotted here.
